..... SMaRT WORLDWIDE - 6 AM SYDNEY AUSTRALIA - 5 PM RIO BRAZIL - 11 PM ISTANBUL

This post is meant to be informative and comes from a loving space of Beingness. There are no judgements and certainly no "should do this" in this one. Take it for checking.

Let me start off by defining what a point of view is. A point of view is a way of seeing the world filtered through the belief systems of the mind. It is a way of seperating yourself from the One, and the cause of all suffering.

The Buddha said more than 2500 years ago that "All suffering is caused by ignorance". And with ignorance he meant a misperception - a point of view that the mind takes. A misperception is often a judgement, such as "Kiss Releasing is pure", which brings the opposite polarity with it: everything else is impure and therefore wrong. In reality, of course, there is no such thing as good or bad, right or wrong. And there is even nothing wrong with the statement "this is pure" in itself.

I am only pointing out that it creates seperation. It is an ego tool to seperate yourself from "apparent others", or as Lester used to call others: "the rest of me". It is a non-love statement, and Lester always said to drop your non-love feelings, didn't he?

Every attachment you hold must have it's opposite side, the aversion, with it. And any aversion you hold also must have it's opposite side, the attachment, to it.

There can be no other way, since duality is setup that way. Every point of view, every belief you hold, creates attachments and aversions. And that is why we suffer - we hold a point of view, which makes it seem real to you, and then you base all of your decisions on that point of view. That creates attachments and aversions, and that's when you suffer.

So what can you do to go beyond this trap of the ego that keeps you seperate and suffering?

Most people are looking for a way to feel better. That's how they use the method: to feel better. And of course, anyone would choose feeling good over feeling rotten anytime, right? Except that feeling better is no solution to whatever you are feeling. If you are feeling rotten and you think "How can I feel better?", then you are trapped in the duality of feeling good/bad.

A better question to ask is "How am I misperceiving?". The result is that you'll feel a whole lot better...but this question comes from a totally different space. You're not looking to feel better - but you are looking to eliminate suffering by the root: your misperception. Once you ask this question, your first thought that created your point of view comes to mind...and then you can let it go.

It's better to ask this question from a quiet mind, or to drop down into your heart first before you ask it, because dropping a question into a noisy environment is often useless.

You drop down into your heart by imagining you press the "Heart" button in an elevator and then dropping your consciousness down all the way to your physical heart. Step out of the elevator and you're there. Now keep your attention on your physical heart. You're now out of the left brain and have a quiet mind.

Or you use Lesterizing to get into Peace. Whatever works for you is fine.

The end result of all releasing is having no points of view. Zero. Zilch. None. Nada. This is what Lester meant when he said "No attachments, no aversions" - having zero points of view that create attachments and aversions. Period. And that can be frightening for the mind at times, because it wonders what job it will have for you. That's when you use your releasing tools to welcome and let go of the fear.

Move beyond points of view, and you move beyond seperation...and therefore you eliminate all suffering. All suffering comes from seperation. Eliminate seperation and suffering is gone forever. This sounds easier than it actually is, because your mind will pull out every trick it knows to hold on and keep you in seperation...since the mind is the instrument of seperation and duality.

So be aware of holding onto points of view, your beliefs, what you "think" is true. This is the biggest trap of all, even if you think it serves you well, such as "Kiss Releasing is pure". It is an ego trap, and the way out of it is by asking "How am I misperceiving? How am I creating this seperation? How am I responsible for creating this?".

All it takes is consciousness - for you to be aware that you are creating your own duality by holding onto your points of view. Be free of any point of view and you'll be free of the covering up of your own Beingness. You are free right here and right now. There is nowhere to go, and nowhere to be - it's only the covering up with your beliefs that keeps you from seeing what you are.

Take it for checking, as always...and namaste.

Much love,

Tom :)

Interesting post, Tom...I especially like this part:

"All it takes is consciousness - for you to be aware that you are creating your own duality by holding onto your points of view. Be free of any point of view and you'll be free of the covering up of your own Beingness. You are free right here and right now. There is nowhere to go, and nowhere to be - it's only the covering up with your beliefs that keeps you from seeing what you are."

Wonderful words ...

The gesture Namaste represents the belief that there is a divine spark within each of us that is located in the heart chakra. The gesture is an acknowledgment of the soul in one by the soul in another. In Sanskrit 'Nama' means bow, 'as' means I, and 'te' means you. Therefore, Namaste literally means 'I bow to you.' ....

I thought it a beautiful ending (one I love as you know) to your well written post that whilst we 'let go of wanting to figure things out' nevertheless gave anyone reading the answers anyway, just in the way Hale himself does after he has released with someone.....

So I place my hands together at the 'third eye' then bring them down to the heart 'chakra', in a deep form of respect and love, Namaste to you too Tom - my dear friend.
