These links might help for the original books - the second book is available for 73 cents in the US. That is too hot to not get hold of right? Even with shipping it works out at below 5$ how does it get any better than that?

 

Let's get these books back out there and being used for releasing. ;)

Well, my "Choose Freedom" arrived today and as it was on my free day, I started reading this afternoon and put it down having read it all in one go. Not a large book so an easy little read. It is wonderful, well written and a real insight into Lester's life. There are wonderful photos of Lester as a child, with his family and as a young man. 

Virginia paints the picture of his life so beautifully. There is a feeling you are there with him as he lives his experience....and the way the early questions he asked himself when he first came out of hospital are great.

Here is an extract from page 72 - Chapter 12.

"Happiness is when I am loving!" He realized that in every instance, his feeling of love for the other person had been intense and that's where the happiness had come from, from his own feeling of loving. 

It was so clear to him now that being loved was not the answer. he could see that even if people loved him, unless he felt love in return, he was not going to be happy. Their loving might make them happy, but it would not, could not, make him happy.........."

I was not even aware of Virginia. After hearing that she was essentially the method creator, I ordered both of her old books today through Amazon's used book listings.
