I'm going through the Abundance Course, there's a section that talks about pride and how it keeps us out of courageousness. I can relate to it, in such circumstances such as meeting new people, or public speaking, we have this image of ourselves (or ego) that stops us from doing things that we think will make us feel embarrassed, hence lose approval/love from others. By stepping into courageousness, it helps us take right action.

Has anyone had experience releasing on Pride? Is there any useful exercises that can be recommended?

I went through it in the Abundance course, to me it seems to come down to making a decision of letting go of the pride, be courageous and be ok make a fool out of myself.

Thanks,

Albert

Hi Albert,
Pride is very subtle. I usually don't take time to release on pride but instead I do it on the spot. Everytime, I feel pride, I release it instantly. It's funny the more spiritual I'm getting, the more pride I'm feeling and the more I release it, the more I feel spiritual. Even when I'm talking of the Sedona Method to my family and friends, I feel pride and I feel that I am attached to it too. So I release my attachment to the pride as well.
The best exercises on Pride I know are the exact ones on the Abundance Course. Have you cleared up everything on them?

Pride can often be a defence to avoid feelings of shame or embarrassement. Often when I'm feeling pride, just the knowing that I'll be feeling shame/embarrassement or any other horrible feeling after the release can create lots of resistance to letting the pride go.
